RECAP OF THE 2026 EDEN PRAIRIE FINALS

So VERY proud of our Middle School Speech Team that took 2nd place in the Eden Prairie Finals! This is a significant accomplishment as we only had 23 entries in only 9 of the 13 categories in the competition with all other schools with 50 or more entries each. The math on that makes the 2nd place finish highly improbable because it would require almost all of our students to place very high in all 9 of the categories that we were entered in.

And they did just that!

Eden Prairie Finals

Marion Howard Humerous Prose 1st Place

Laney Matthiesen Humerous Prose 4th place

Marion scored a perfect 100 in all three rounds! Laney scored two 99's and a 100!

Nora Beeson/Lucy Palm Duet 1st Place -

This is the first Duo 1st Place finish since Mr. Webster has been the coach of the Speech Team (2013) - They also posted perfect 100 scores in each round!
