Carmilla; Reckoning by Vampire

In 1872 a Gothic novella by Irish author Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu was published. It is one of the earliest known works of vampire fiction, predating Bram Stoker’s Dracula. First published as a serial in the literary magazine the “Dark Blue”, Le Fanu’s Vampires are women and is regarded as one of the most influential vampire stories of all time.
Adapted for our stage with many twists from the original, as the vampires in our story are out to rid the world of evil..
