The play we are doing and sides for the auditions will be posted here sometime in October.

Nothing else needs to be done except show up on that day and time for auditions. Read the sides online and be familiar with the sides or memorized for the audition. If you are cast, registration will be open after auditions.

THE SCHEDULE FOR REHEARSALS WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE CAST CONFLICTS. Each student auditioning should bring their conflicts for December and January and the first two weeks in February. From this, we will create our rehearsal calendar.

This is FOR SURE performance dates.

February 2nd and 3rd

This is IF we move on to the next round – but the student should be available.

Middle School Auditions for the High School Fall Play

The Centennial High School Theater Fall Play Production of ‘Marley’s Ghost’ will be holding auditions for Middle School students for a number or roles of children.

Auditions will be…

Monday October 3rd at 5:30 PM at the High School Performing Arts Center.

Auditions should be done by 6:00 or soon after.

Students who get cast for these roles will not have to pay registration fees.

Students must be able to attend the schedule below. (Occasional conflicts can be worked around – except where noted)

The roles that are being auditioned for are also listed below with a brief description. If needed some roles might be doubled, depending on auditions.

Come ready to sing a song – any song. Just a few bars is fine. Otherwise no preparation is needed. I will walk them through some lines and physical movement. Everyone will audition together at the same time.

Students should be diminutive in size as to look like children next to High School Students.

Young boy Caroler

-A few brief lines at top of show. Must be willing to sing.

Belle’s other children

-No lines. Appearance in a scene in middle of show.

Bob Cratchit Jr.

-One line. Two scenes. Top of show and toward the end.

Child Scrooge

Scene toward top of show. A few lines. Performance ability needs to be very strong.

Tiny Tim

One very well-known line. (God Bless us every one) Must be willing to sing.

Ignorance and Want

-Terrifying creatures who appear beneath the robe of The Spirit of the present. They will require specialty make up. They are terrifying and horrible to look at.

Goose Boy

-A few lines at the end of the show.

Young Girl

A few lines at the end of the show.
